It all began a little over a decade ago when I moved from NY to LA. I was instantly known as Cousin Cheryl, since that is how my cousin Lori always referred to me when speaking with her friends. When growing up in New York, it was expected that I would bake my signature chocolate chip cookies, and snickerdoodles for family events and parties, and this tradition continued when I relocated to the west coat. When people asked who made the cookies the answer was always the same “Cousin Cheryl”. After a few years, Lori had children and as expected, I showed up at the parties with a basket of fresh baked cookies. When Lori was asked where she bought the dessert, she replied “Cousin Cheryl made them." A little over a year ago I decided to make a major change in my life and change careers, and open up my own restaurant and bakery. This lead to many questions, but there was never a doubt as to what the name would be. Stop by any weekday from 8 AM-2 PM. You won’t be disappointed!
